Collection of letters from several individuals regarding attendance and participation in the dedication ceremony of the New Hampshire State Library, held on January 8th, 1895. Most of the letters are addressed to John B. Smith, the governor of New Hampshire. There is also a printed invitation in its envelope, as well as another envelope with a list of those who had accepted their invitations. Most letters date from October 1894; signatures include A.R. Spofford, H.G. Sargent, William J. Tucker, J.L.S. Frink, Charles H. Burns, Rev. H.P Dewey.
